Urban and Regional Planning Department (URP) on the VC Cup for a record 1st time in a thrilling final by beating 11-man Petroleum Engineering Football Team, who was denied a VC cup three times, with One to nought (1-0).

According to the SUG Sport Director of the Institution, Menkiti Patrick uchenna, he said, 

"Petroleum Engineering Football Team has been able to reach finals for three consecutive years but hasn't won any Cup. But Urban & Regional Planning Team just came on board as finalist this year for the first time and won a trophy and cup".

Award presented to Highest Goal Scorer, Bright.

"After the Football Competition that held on 31st March, 2022 between the two Football Teams, the LIFT' M., a sponsor of the FUTO VC cup gave awards to the highest goal scorer, Best coach and FUTO Team coach, and others for their beautiful performances."
