Controversial writer, Ade Adeola Solomon has said via his Facebook page to advise the students and Varsity Lecturers on how they should learn from this ASUU strike. He also said the position of Education in Nigeria.
He said,
"We should be more careful as a State. Failed government breeds failed promises, poor education, poverty, and poor international recognition and integration."
"An student who doesn't make use of this period of ASUU strike to learn a skill will bring blames upon himself/herself later or afterwards."
"Nigerian Education is in shambles. There's no doubt about it. We need restructuring, in political system, academics, sociological aspects and in economies. Without that, focusing only on political matters will bring peril upon us.."
"Let's just be sincere to ourselves, ASUU-FG inability to reach an agreement will make this and forthcoming generation to lose hope in formal education, if this turbulence between them continues."
"Why would a set of academics be working without being paid? And the crooked politicians are taking in homes hard currencies. No be suffering be that?"
"I just wish the system is revitalized as they wanted. But before revitalization, University Dons should not give way for rigging of Election next year as they will be used. Then after being used, they'll dump them like waste again! They should have Sense this time around."
"The only tool to win wicked, villainous and corrupt politicians is EDUCATION."
"So if they (Politicians) know that EDUCATION will not be used to win them, it means they're ignorant."
"As a student, put your hands into something. Try to be skilled. Nigeria supports only Politicians, not academicians or tacticians."
