'Staphlococcus aureus Doesn't Cause STIs' - Ade Adeola Solomon advises Nigerians

Posted by Ade Adeola Solomon

Controversial writer and Registered Health Practitioner , Ade Adeola Solomon has posted on his Facebook page to advise on the wrong knowledge people have on STIs and Staphylococcus aureus.

He said,

"Contrary to beliefs, a seasoned Medical laboratory scientist said Staphylococcus aureus is not a sexually transmitted infection but vital for every woman's private part."

"Have you ever visited a Laboratory agent for test when you experienced symptoms like: "genital itching, foul vagina odor, yellow discharge etc" and he/she said after conducted test that you have "Staphylococcus"? "

"See my dear, there's nothing like Staphylococcal infection in the vagina. Because these Staphylococci (Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermis) are microflora (microorganisms found living and growing on the body of healthy individuals) in the upper respiratory tract (most especially, The Nose)."

"I don't know why you would be diagnosed of infection called "staph infection" because yoy experienced the symptoms above."

"Some have even come to me as a Health Practitioner to say they have "Staph" ....how can a microorganism be an infection?"

"The truth is whenever you visit a Lab agent and he/she tells you that you have Staphylococcus àureus because of the aforementioned symptoms, tell him he/she is lying."

"Even among the STIs such as Vagnosis, Vaginitis, Genital Herpes, Hepatitis B, Chlamydia, Genital warts, moniliasis (Yeast infection), syphilis, gonorrhea, HPV, Trichomoniasis etc none of them is caused by Staphylococcus aureus."

"Staphylococcus aureus is the leading cause of skin and soft tissue infections such as abscesses (boils), furuncles, and cellulitis. Although most staph infections are not serious, Staphylococcus aureus can cause serious infections such as bloodstream infections, pneumonia, or bone and joint infections. NOT STIs!!"

"And to those who always come to me to say what about Lactobacillus? Lactobacillus acidophilus is a microorganism living and found growing in the vagina, helping to stimulate immune system and cleansing the wall of the vagina."

"GET IT RIGHT (GIR)"
