SEXUALITY: Tramadol Causes Erectile dysfunction and decreased libido- Ade Adeola Solomon

Tramadol is an opiod Analgesics. It's used to relieve severe pain or pain after surgery (post-operative pain). It shouldn't be used for sexual enhancement as some people have adopted it as aphrodisiac. 

Tramadol is a banned drug here in Nigeria. Do you know why?  When you have high body temperature and you take Tramadol to lower the temperature, instead of this drug to work by reducing your body temperature gradually, it'll just lower your body temperature once, sometimes leading to hypothermia and death. 

If you haven't known, yes, you take Tramadol to get intoxicated and you're good about it, these are the side effects it comes with : 

• Constipation.
• discouragement.
• drowsiness.
• feeling of warmth.
• feeling unusually cold.
• itching or skin rash.
• loss of strength or weakness.
• muscle aches and pains

Recently, the use of sexual stimulants like opioids has gained a wide popularity among young men in Nigeria without erectile dysfunction. Reasons for the use of sexual stimulants in the absence of erectile disease include the urge to augment sexual drives, the desire to achieve a harder and long-lasting erection, the urge for higher coital frequency and the willingness to delay ejaculation. Tramadol addiction is the same as Alcoholism and others. 

Let me tell you another mechanism, when you take Tramadol, it'll get to either your kidney or liver to get metabolised. But this drug always contains tiniest particles that sometimes kidney won't be able to filter and remain as stone causing calculus or stone. And such an affected person can die of kidney problem. 

Many youths have died because of high consumption of Tramadol, Rephnol, cocaine, crack, heroine etc. 

And drug abuse is one of the predisposing factors of HIV/AIDs, Secondary Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Cerebrovascular Accident, Cancer etc 

Please if we're enjoying, we should endeavor to choose the right enjoyment. Ingesting Tramadol to sexually satisfied a man/woman is not advisable or encouraging. 

Don't kill yourself because of sex. Don't because you want to sexually moan and allow people to mourn you. 

Don't let your moaning leads to your mourning.
