Love is a Choice.......not a feeling!

Now I must tell you one thing about feelings. Feelings rise and fall. The feeling of love is so wonderful, i wish i could have it everyday after the person i once wished it for disappointed me or didn't wish me back. But my feelings always rise......then fall......then rise again. For who? Hmm!

In late 2021, i received a letter like note from my Uncle , that if he has been doing good job of loving his wife, his saying will be like this:

" I'm working hard to love my wife every day. On some days, my feeling of love is high, and on those days it's easy for me to love her. I find myself wanting to be kind to her. I even enjoy washing dishes with her! But on other days, I have a hard day at work, and I arrive home feeling down. I feel no love for my wife. So, what do i do? I love her anyway! I love her by speaking to her, and by helping her care for the children. No matter how I feel, I still love my wife with kindness. And soon the loving feeling begins to rise again." I applauded him because I've not joined him in marital life. Truly as he explained, it's not easy to love, care, feel good for your partner/wife everyday.

Early 2022, I tried calling the girl who made me to have Love-Obsession Disorder to let her know about my journey but she started acting somehow, and ridiculously acted so strange.

Hmm! I became so worried with what my Uncle has told me. I see that most young people do not understand love. They think, "After I am closed to him/her, I'll have a romantic-erotic feeling in my Heart everyday. If that feeling disappears, it means I have fallen out of love. Then Separation or breakup is the answer." This is one of the things that's making us to jump from one man/woman to another.

After this experience with this girl, I began to tell young people, "switch off the TV, trash most of your sensual magazines, and read the Bible! There you will find that God has a plan that works. God simply commands a man and woman: love each other......all the time, whether your feelings are high or low."

I now see that because of Her 10% life, our romantic feelings are low and we won't continue being kind to each other. 

Ergo, I was hoping that when I got myself so close to this girl, I would no longer feel attracted to other ladies. But Nope!

A friend asked me, "Mr. Man, even though you have a good girlfriend, do you ever feel attracted to other women?" 

"Yes, quite often I meet a lady who attracts me. Sometimes I get a feeling that says, "Try to win her love."

However I refuse to allow that feeling to control me. I remember my promise to love this girl during when we were talking smoothly but her 10% life wouldn't let her  believe this assertion.

Anyway, it's natural for a man to feel attracted to other ladies, but what will i do when my love for this girl is unappreciated, unnoticed, unrecognized and is now becoming toxic?

Hmmm.....when you get a feeling for a girl who doesn't appreciate your love,  obey yourself and love another person better than her. 

I am on it. 

Love is a choice my dear, not a feeling at all!!!
